In the final held on Sunday, the sixth-ranked Noskova and eighth-ranked Muchova each claimed victories in their singles matches, leading Czechia to a 2-0 win over Ukraine. Noskova clinched the title by defeating the seventh-ranked Elina Svitolina 6-3, 7-6 (5), after Muchova defeated 47th-ranked Anhelina Kalinina 6-2, 6-3.
Muchova remarked on the team's chemistry, saying, "We just have the vibe in the locker room." Noskova's match concluded dramatically as she sealed her victory on her third match point, delivering a powerful serve and forehand that Svitolina struggled to return. Following her victory, Noskova celebrated with Czech captain Barbora Strycova.
Noskova served 10 aces compared to Svitolina’s six. This achievement marks Czechia’s 12th title in this tournament, formerly known as the Fed Cup, and first since 2018. The United States holds the record for the most titles with 18.
Strycova has now become the fourth individual to win the competition as both a player and captain, joining legends like Margaret Court, Chris Evert, and Billie Jean King. She previously won six titles as a player for Czechia before taking on the captaincy this year.
Throughout the competition, Czechia also defeated Britain in the quarterfinals and Spain in the semifinals, allowing top-ranked doubles player Katerina Siniakova to remain unplayed. Noskova expressed relief at not having to compete in the deciding doubles match, stating, "I’m really glad that we didn’t ever have to go into doubles, the deciding match, which is always the most stressful one."
Ukraine reached the final by eliminating two-time defending champion Italy in the semifinals but played without 10th-ranked Marta Kostyuk due to a wrist injury.
