A victory for Rytas would clinch their spot at 2-0 in the group, while the RSSB Tigers would qualify for the Semi-Finals as the second seed with a 1-1 record, eliminating the Sharks.
Should the Sharks win, they would create a three-way tie at 1-1. A win by 1-34 points would allow both Rytas and Shanghai to advance, eliminating the Tigers. A win by 35 points or more for Shanghai would send both the Sharks and the Tigers to the Semi-Finals, leaving Rytas out.
