The Kentucky Wildcats and LSU Tigers have issued their initial injury reports for Saturday’s game at Kroger Field. Kentucky's wide receiver DJ Miller, who missed the previous week's victory against South Carolina due to injury, is listed as probable and expected to play. Running back Jason Patterson, who exited last week’s game with an injury, is also cleared to participate. Safety Aaron Gates, who was a late scratch for the Columbia game, is not listed on the injury report.

However, Kentucky's secondary will be affected by the absence of cornerbacks Grant Grayton and Jaden Smith, both ruled out. Additionally, linebackers Antwan Smith and Tavion Wallace are also out, leaving the position thin alongside Alex Afari, who is ineligible. Defensive tackle Kalen Edwards and long-snapper Cole Marszalek are questionable, while reserve offensive lineman Aba Selm is confirmed out.
