Isabella Mauricio, a Brown University women's basketball alumna, has signed a professional contract with Herner TC, a club in the Damen Basketball Bundesliga, Germany's top women's basketball league. The announcement was made by Herner TC.

"I'm incredibly excited and grateful to join Herner TC and begin this new chapter in Germany," Mauricio expressed. She noted that the team has warmly welcomed her and she looks forward to competing at a high level.
In her inaugural professional season during the 2025-26 campaign, Mauricio played for Trepça in the Kosovo Superleague, where she averaged 24.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists across 16 games. Over the summer of 2026, she also played for the Bay City Blaze in the Women's Premier Basketball Association, averaging 14.0 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 11 games.
While at Brown, Mauricio scored 1,069 points and recorded 216 three-pointers in 102 games, starting 92 of those. She maintains an average of 10.5 points per game, with over 200 points scored in each of her four seasons. Mauricio ranks 20th in career points and third in career 3-point field goals made in the program's history at Brown.
As a sociology and economics concentrator, Mauricio received the Bears' Next Award twice, which honors the player exemplifying the team’s core values.
