West Virginia Players Drafted by the Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have historically leveraged the NBA draft to build their teams, acquiring many notable players through this annual event. Among the schools contributing talent to Boston's roster, West Virginia has produced a couple of players.

Jerome Anderson was drafted by the Celtics in the 1975 NBA Draft as a guard, selected in the third round with the 53rd overall pick. He played for the Celtics for one season and won a championship with the team.

Phil Collins, a center, was picked in the seventh round as the 161st overall pick in the 1982 NBA Draft. He played three seasons at West Virginia but did not make the Celtics' roster.
