The men’s season begins on November 2 with UConn, which finished last season with a 34-6 record and reached the National Championship game, hosting Gardner-Webb at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock. The UConn women, who achieved a 38-1 record and ranked third nationally last year, are set for eight appearances, including one on NBC. Their season opener is against Cornell on November 2 at 5 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Key matchups in the men's games include UConn at Creighton on January 3 at 2 p.m. ET and Xavier at St. John’s on February 13 at 1 p.m. ET, both available on NBC and Peacock. The BIG EAST men’s conference play starts on December 12, with Providence hosting Butler.

Notable non-conference games on Peacock and NBCSN will feature Georgetown against Maryland on November 7 and a classic rivalry game between Syracuse and St. John’s on November 15.

In women’s basketball, the season kicks off on Peacock with UConn taking on Cornell at 5 p.m. ET on November 2. Two notable women’s games on NBC and Peacock include DePaul facing Notre Dame on November 14 and UConn visiting DePaul on January 3.

The women’s conference play begins on November 20 with Seton Hall visiting UConn. NBC Sports will showcase a women’s doubleheader on February 18, featuring Georgetown against UConn and Marquette visiting Villanova.

Last season, the BIG EAST sent three teams to the NCAA Men’s Tournament, with St. John’s emerging as the 2026 BIG EAST Tournament champion. In women’s basketball, UConn and Villanova made NCAA Tournament appearances, with UConn posting an undefeated regular season.
