The Grand Slam tournaments consist of Wimbledon, played on grass; the French Open, which is on clay; the Australian Open, held on cushioned acrylic hard court; and the US Open, played on acrylic hard court. During a podcast interview with former world No. 1 Maria Sharapova, Eala shared her favorite Grand Slam.
Eala stated, "Wimbledon is my favorite Slam, and growing up I always just loved the tradition, and I find it very elegant. The all-white against the green grass, and things were very charming and so appealing to me." The 21-year-old reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon, defeating defending champion Iga Swiatek in the third round before losing to Jasmine Paolini in the round of 16.
Sharapova noted that playing at Wimbledon’s Centre Court is a unique experience, having been the first Russian woman to win the singles title there in 2004. Eala made her Wimbledon debut in 2025, becoming the first Filipina to compete in the main draw of a Grand Slam event.
