Italian public service broadcaster Rai has secured the rights to air Italy's matches in the semi-finals and finals of the men’s Davis Cup, following an agreement with the Italian Tennis Federation (FITP). This arrangement includes simultaneous broadcasts alongside SuperTennis, provided Italy defeats South Korea in the quarter-finals scheduled for November 25.

The deal allows Rai to cover the tournament across television, digital, and mobile platforms in Italy, San Marino, and the Vatican. SuperTennis holds exclusive rights for the upcoming match against South Korea, with Rai poised to join the coverage only if Italy, the defending champions, advances to the semi-finals.
FITP President Angelo Binaghi emphasized the importance of making Italian tennis accessible to a broad audience, highlighting the partnership with Rai as essential for promoting national pride and unity through the Davis Cup.
If Italy progresses, they will face the winner of the Czech Republic vs. Canada match on November 27. The Final Eight tournament will take place in Bologna from November 24 to 29 and marks the culmination of the 2026 Davis Cup season, which began in February with 26 teams competing for a spot in the second round.
In other developments, Fred Perry has become the global apparel partner for the Davis Cup through a multi-year sponsorship. The brand will outfit officials and ball kids during the Final Eight and all future qualifiers starting in 2027, coinciding with the company's 75th anniversary. Ross Hutchins, chief executive at the World Tennis body, noted that partnering with the Fred Perry brand celebrates its legacy in the competition, as Perry was a four-time Davis Cup champion from 1933 to 1936.
Meanwhile, the international insurance company Generali Group was announced as the new presenting partner for the event, officially renaming it the Davis Cup by Generali. This partnership includes worldwide broadcast rights and branding visibility at all events and ends a period of searching for a new title sponsor since the previous contract with Rakuten ended in 2022. World Tennis expects to announce more commercial deals in the coming weeks.
