Daniel Altmaier of Germany is among this group of six players, who collectively recorded a 0-4 record at the Grand Slams. Altmaier's year began at the Australian Open, where he lost to Marin Cilic in three sets, with two sets going without him winning a game. At Roland Garros, he faced Félix Auger-Aliassime and lost in a fifth-set tiebreak after having opportunities to win. His struggles continued at Wimbledon, where Alex Molcan eliminated him, and he concluded the year at the US Open with a loss to Zachary Svajda.
Tallon Griekspoor, who had previously reached the fourth round at Roland Garros in 2025, also failed to secure a victory in 2026. He began with a loss to Ethan Quinn in Melbourne and subsequently lost his first match at Roland Garros to Matteo Arnaldi, followed by defeats against James Duckworth at Wimbledon and Ben Shelton at the US Open, ending the year with six consecutive first-round losses.
Aleksandar Kovacevic, from the United States, had a disappointing run, losing in the opening rounds of all four Grand Slams. His losses included Tommy Paul at the Australian Open, Rafa Jódar at Roland Garros, Botic van de Zandschulp at Wimbledon, and Valentin Vacherot at the US Open.
French player Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard mirrored Kovacevic’s experience, losing to Sebastian Báez in five sets at the Australian Open, followed by a first-round loss to Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros, Yannick Hanfmann at Wimbledon, and Jurij Rodionov at the US Open. Despite a strong performance outside the Grand Slam events, his inability to win at the majors marked a significant disappointment.
Térence Atmane faced perhaps the most agonizing defeat, nearly securing a win at the US Open against Jaume Munar after taking a two-set lead but ultimately losing in five sets. Earlier, he had been defeated by Francesco Maestrelli at the Australian Open, Thanasi Kokkinakis at Roland Garros, and Frances Tiafoe at Wimbledon.
Aleksandar Vukic from Australia also did not progress past the first round, with losses to Thiago Agustín Tirante, Raphael Collignon, Jenson Brooksby, and Rei Sakamoto.
These six players, with an overall record of 0-24 in matches across the four Grand Slams, will seek to improve their performances in the 2027 season.
