Wisconsin Badgers Release 2026-27 Men's Basketball Schedule

The Badgers will participate in 20 conference games, including 10 at the Kohl Center. They will face five teams ranked in ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25 during league play, including No. 3 Illinois and reigning national champion Michigan at home, as well as road games at USC, UCLA, and Michigan State.

Wisconsin begins conference action on Tuesday, December 1, against Northwestern before hosting Purdue on Tuesday, December 8. Their non-conference schedule features the Baha Mar Championship in the Bahamas and two neutral-site games against Villanova in Philadelphia and Auburn in Nashville.

January will see a busy home schedule, with matchups against Illinois on Saturday, January 2, Minnesota on Saturday, January 9, Penn State on Wednesday, January 13, and Washington on Saturday, January 23. The Badgers will also travel to play Iowa, USC, UCLA, Maryland, and Minnesota during the month.

February includes notable games starting with home contests against Oregon on Wednesday, February 3, and Michigan on Saturday, February 6. Wisconsin will later host Indiana on Friday, February 19, and Iowa on Wednesday, February 24, while visiting Ohio State, Rutgers, and Illinois.

The regular season concludes at home against Nebraska on Wednesday, March 3, followed by a final game at Michigan State on Saturday, March 6. The 2027 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 9-14 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

An exhibition game against UW-Parkside is set for Saturday, October 10, and tickets for this game will be sold separately. Season ticket holders and athletic donors will get priority access for single-game tickets starting Wednesday, September 23, while public sales will begin at 3 p.m. that same day, with all reserved tickets priced at $9 each.

Due to an expanded schedule with three exhibitions, there will be no Red-White Scrimmage this season. Single-game tickets will be available starting Thursday, October 1, at 9 a.m. (CT) via UWBadgers.com or by contacting 1.800.GO.BADGERS or 608.262.1440.

Currently, season tickets are on sale, which includes 18 home games, excluding the exhibition. There is a purchase limit of six season tickets per person. Interested fans can order by calling the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office or filling out a request form for a sales representative to reach out.

Student season tickets will also be available on September 23 at 7:30 a.m. for $176. These tickets cover all home games except the UW-Parkside game and any winter break games, with a high demand expected.
