While Carrick expressed satisfaction with the current signings, he emphasized the need for further reinforcements due to growing impatience among fans. "We're delighted with the players we've brought in, first and foremost," Carrick remarked to Sky Sports News. Carrick has also welcomed the return of Marcus Rashford, who rejoined the squad after spending last season on loan at Barcelona. The LaLiga side opted not to activate his £26 million buy clause, allowing Rashford to return to United.
