Gonzaga's annual Kraziness in the Kennel event took place Saturday afternoon, marked by an electric atmosphere featuring iconic tunes and a newly added Pac-12 logo on the court, signaling the team's shift from the WCC after nearly 50 years. This event introduced a revamped roster, with nine of the thirteen players participating in the Blue vs. White scrimmage donning a Gonzaga uniform for the first time, including fifth-year transfers Xaivian Lee and Chauncey Wiggins and international big man Izan Almansa, who remains ineligible pending NCAA evaluation of his previous professional experience.

In the 20-minute scrimmage, Team White emerged victorious with a score of 56-45. All of Gonzaga's 15 players were introduced, but only 13 participated in the game, as walk-on Carter Nilson was absent due to an injury and senior transfer Javon Bennett was held out because of a mild shoulder injury. Both Lee and Wiggins took the court, as did Almansa, who likely received a practice waiver while his eligibility is under review.

Three-point shooting was notably effective, with the teams combining for 18-of-32 attempts (56.3%) from beyond the arc. Gonzaga's presumed starting wings, Fogle and Harwell, showcased their skills, with Fogle achieving an impressive 30 points on 11-of-15 shooting, breaking a Kraziness record. Harwell supported with 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range. Other players like Lee and Wiggins contributed to the scoring as well, hinting at a vastly improved shooting performance from last season.

Despite limited returning players, Davis Fogle's performance cements his status as a promising candidate for the upcoming NBA draft, while Braden Huff also demonstrated readiness with 11 points and seven rebounds. Gonzaga's next game is an exhibition match scheduled for October 24 against Arkansas.
