In Paris, Matt Fitzpatrick secured his fourth title of the year at the French Open with a closing score of 1-under 70, finishing three shots clear of Spaniard Ángel Hidalgo, who shot a 67. Chien-yao Hung won his first Asian Tour title at the Mercuries Taiwan Masters, while Kyle De Beer finished strong at the Rwanda Open with an 8-under 64, securing a six-shot victory. Shiho Kuwaki, the Women's British Open champion, also triumphed, winning her third title this year at the Miyagi TV Cup Dunlop Ladies Open.
