Milazzo was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly violating the protective order by driving past the victim's residence and entering the driveway, as stated in court documents. This marks the second incident in three months where he has been accused of breaching the order. In August, Milazzo was charged for being within 1,000 feet of the victim while on campus.
In the earlier case, the prosecution was deferred on the condition that he would not attempt to assault, harass, or intimidate the victim and complete a mental health evaluation. Devin Duncan, the Student Body President, expressed surprise at the recent arrest and stated that such behavior is unacceptable on campus. He encouraged students facing domestic violence to seek help from authorities or university resources, emphasizing the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions.
Milazzo is scheduled to appear in court next month regarding the latest charges. WRAL News has made inquiries to the law firm that represented him in previous cases but has not yet received a response.
